Welcome to
Wight Wizards Dog Agility Training
The Agility Equipment
I am Cathy Humphries and I run Wight Wizards which offers Dog Agility
Training on the Isle of Wight.
My weekly training is based at Lake Farm Equestrian Centre in Rookley.
I set up Dog Agility Training as a business in 2006, chasing a
dream which became reality.
I hold 4 AGILITY TRAINING sessions on a MONDAY evening in a SECURE
INDOOR sand school. The classes start at 5 o'clock and finish at 9 o'clock.
Each session is an hour long. A waiting list is in operation so please
contact me to check availability.
I will teach you and your dog to complete all the equipment in a safe
and successful way.
I hold outdoor training sessions and Progress tests in the warmer,
drier months.
All breeds of dog are welcome and we encourage beginner through to
competitor. Dogs may join us for training after their 1st birthday.
All ages of handler are also welcome. Our youngest handler is 10
years old and is showing great promise in the Agility ring.
Wight Wizards offer a professional, friendly and encouraging service
for you and your dog. The equipment is FULL SIZE and is of Kennel Club
specification.
ALL the training program's are based on positive reinforcement methods.
We encourage handlers to recognize "good" behavior in their dog and
to reward this appropriately.
We expect rewards to be of high quality, including verbal praise, tasty
tit bits, toys or a combination of these.
Although the courses are structured, we can be flexible to meet the
needs of individual requirements. I teach groups or on a 1-1 basis to
maintain quality time to train your dog.
