  • March Congratulations 01/04/2012

March saw some cracking results for Wight Wizard Handlers and Dogs at UK Agility competitions. The month started with Tasha coming second in CSJ Agility qualifier round. The points awarded were enough to take Tasha to Champion level in Performance, well done Cathy & Tasha for being a double champ.

Poppy excelled at UKA Ajax coming 4th place in Beginners Agility. Not only was this a good placing it was also Poppy’s first clear round competing on an agility course. Congratulations to Daryl & Poppy for this excellent achievement.

Martyn showed an interest in competing and decided to enter his first show with Megan. They did very well and achieved a Clear Round in Beginner Jumping. Martyn’s handling of Megan was exceptional at their first competition and they show great promise for the future. Very proud of you both, well done.

On the first day of the new competition calendar for Jill & Stobie, and only their second Senior competition, they pulled out all the stops. On that day they achieved both a 1st in Jumping and a 1st in Agility. This on its own is fantastic achievement, but coupled with the fact they were the only partnership to go clear on both courses is phenomenal! Well done Jill & Stobie looking forward to seeing you in Champ.

If that was not enough, the results continued at UKA NADS with Ollie & Saskin. This talented partnership transferred their brilliance from training to the competition environment and were rewarded by getting a 1st place in Beginners Jumping. Congratulations  Ollie & Saskin.

  • Report on UKA show at Romsey on 24 & 25th April 2010 26/04/2010 Patenden – what a fabulous day. The weather was perfect, sunny and warm without being so hot that we had to worry about the dogs in the car. One of the many joys of a UKA show is that you get at least 4 runs, so with three dogs between us at three d...
